The Rules

Privacy Policy

Let's be brutally honest about your data. We don't want your personal life, we just need what makes this platform work. Here is exactly what we collect and why.

Last Updated: April 2026

1. What We Actually Collect

We cut the noise. We only collect what is functionally necessary for you to use The Vault:

  • Account Details: Your email address and basic profile info to create your account and let you log in.
  • Usage Metrics: Which guides you open, your reading progress, and where you stop. We track this so we know what content actually works and what needs to be thrown out.
  • Device Specs: Basic info about your phone or browser to fix crashes and bugs.

2. No Garbage Business Models

We do not sell your personal data to ad agencies, data brokers, or anyone else. That is a trash way to do business.

We only share your data with the underlying infrastructure that keeps this app alive (like our secure cloud servers and database hosts). They are legally bound to keep it locked down.

3. Security & Reality

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your account. But let's be real: no system on the internet is 100% impenetrable.

We do our part to secure our servers, but if you use "password123" for your account, that's on you. Protect your own login credentials.

4. Your Move (User Rights)

You own your data. If you decide you're done with The Vault, you can:

  • Request a copy of everything we have on you.
  • Tell us to delete your account and wipe your records from our active servers.

Need to talk about your data?

Don't overthink it. Just email us. We'll handle it.
